An analysis of how well a simple baseline model performs on currently available face recognition datasets was just accepted to the “Faces in Real Life” Workshop at the European Conference on Computer Vision (in Marseilles). As we had previous suggested for one popular object recognition test set, many face recognition sets may simply not be that hard. We will link to the paper when it becomes available, and check us out if you are coming to the workshop.
