1. (Q) What determines eligibility?
   
   (A) Although no rigorous restriction is placed on prior experience and career path, the typical new appointee will have just completed a Ph.D. or have up to two years postdoctoral experience.




2. (Q) What is the deadline for applications?
   
   (A) The deadline for applications for the 2010 program is November 30, 2009.




3. (Q) Do I have to be a U.S. citizen to apply?
   
   (A) No – non U.S. citizens are eligable for appointment as Rowland Junior Fellows. Visa requirements, of course, must be met.
