While at the Rowland the Reece Lab was focused on utilising transient pressure pulses and kinetic modelling in order to understand the fundamental concepts that drive catalytic reactions on surfaces. The goal of their lab was to break down chemical transformations into their elementary steps identifying the key components that drive the activity and selectivity of the catalyst.
