Joel Parks’ past research projects in the Trapped Ion Dynamics Group were designed to study the structural dynamics of nanoscale gas-phase species including small metal clusters and biomolecules, by making diffraction measurements of metal cluster symmetry and probing using fluorescence the dynamics and interactions of biomolecules.
