Postdoctoral Fellowships

Postdoctoral Fellowships are available in the laboratories of the Rowland Fellows, who have all the rights and privileges of Principal Investigators at Harvard University. We seek enthusiastic and motivated applicants with strong backgrounds in their fields. Postdocs work closely with the Rowland Fellow and are supported by, and engaged with, the broader research community at Harvard University. Please review the individual websites of our Rowland Fellows. If you are interested in applying for a postdoctoral research position in their laboratory, send your CV and a detailed cover letter explaining your interests directly to the Rowland Fellow via email. In addition, some Fellows may choose to place a link below this paragraph when there are available opportunities.

Graduate Students

Graduate students can perform research in Rowland laboratories under the guidance of a Rowland Fellow and a Harvard faculty member, who serves as the student’s formal PhD advisor. Please inquire with the Rowland Faculty Director for further questions.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate researchers from any institution are invited and encouraged to work with us at the Rowland Institute. If you are interested, please carefully review the research performed by our current Rowland Fellows and contact them to inquire about current availability in their groups. Undergraduates can join us during the school year or over the summertime. We offer competitive stipends that are comparable to those offered throughout Harvard for undergraduate research.
